Questions, answered

Good to know before you play.

Short answers for first-time music makers and the grown-ups nearby.

What happens when the seven-day trial ends?

You can still open, play, save, and share your existing songs as editable .neon files. Editing, making a new song, recording, and WAV export need the one-time unlock.

Does Neon Arcade record from the microphone?

No. Note recording captures pad performance inside the app. Neon Arcade does not ask for microphone permission.

Can I share what I make?

Yes. Use Apple's share sheet to send song audio, a repeating Stage loop, or an editable Neon Arcade song file. Sharing only happens when you choose it.

Which iPads can run it?

Neon Arcade is made for iPad, with iPadOS 18 or later and an A12 Bionic chip or later. It is not an iPhone app.

Is there a subscription?

No. There is a free seven-day trial followed by one permanent unlock. The current price is shown in the App Store listing.

Does it need an account or send songs to the cloud?

No account is required. Songs are local documents on your iPad; Neon Arcade has no advertising, third-party analytics, or developer-operated song upload.
